On Monday, we went to the computer lab to practice coding. We played a game called Scratch, and you also got the chance to build a Christmas tree. At snack, we started Shiloh. We continued to work on our Native American cards. Also, we started our new mentor sentence: "My ears rang with crickets, and my eyes stung from staring too long."

December 3 - December 7

On Monday we had Art and Spanish and we got our Native American assignments for our 3-D models we are going to make at home, and we also read the book Hey, Little Ant.


On Tuesday we had P.E. and we got a sharing sheet to share mostly whatever we want and we learned about bullying, teasing, and conflicts, and how they can be good or bad in Second Step.


On Wednesday we had Chorus first thing in the morning and we got to start our Native American card writing in Social Studies.

This week was great!

On Monday we had art and Spanish. In Spanish we learned a new song about November. We continued learning more about the history of Native Americans. It was a grammar week so we did Tuesdays and Mondays grammar work. 

On Tuesday there was no school. We spent the day either relaxing, doing fun stuff or  doing homework and running errands.

On Monday Mrs. Petersen had her baby!

On Tuesday we went to the computer lab to do a math test called “Amath”. We also had P.E outside. We started to dribble and  kick with a soccer ball.

Wednesday we had chorus. We sang “Sarasponda” around. Next we had second step. We learned about different feelings.  

On thursday it was Peter C.'s birthday. We also had a science center presentation about bees.

Dear Parents,

We had a very busy but fun week!

On Monday we had art and Spanish, along with another lesson by Mrs. Burton where our class learned about social secrets. In art we finished our bird project. In Spanish we learned a new song called October. We got our first TFK assigned.

Dear Parents,


This week of school was awesome!


On Monday we had our first lesson with Mrs. Burton. We had our first social thinking lesson. Mrs. Burton talked about expected, and unexpected, and we also learned about flexible thinking.

 

On Tuesday we had P.E. We learned a game called “Touchdown”. In math we learned about division sentences with remainders. In science we were taught how insects move, and eat.

Dear Families,

It has been a great first week in fourth grade!

       This week we have started our insect unit.  We have learned about insects and went out to the OLC to catch some. Then we took notes, sketched, and observed them. The read aloud book is also about insects. It’s called Project Mulberry.
